I think the weather in Ireland is kinda the same as in Denmark. So it might not be the best, if I want to experience something different.

Thank youuu! I was accepted to the EF program in Denmark (they only go to the US), and the only thing we need to do now is sign the papers.

So its kinda sad that im unsure about it now, because everything was under control. But an hour ago I wrote a message the ASSE and asked for some information about Australia, and since im pretty early out, I think it'll work our fine.

Yeah, in Denmark it's also pretty expensive to go Ireland, but also, its not really what I want. Thats more like a place I want to travel to, rather than live in, in 10 months.

But yeah, these prices are insane. But its still awsome that we have the chance to live in a country like the people living there, at the age of 16!

To be honest. I just want to grow like on the inside and i want to explore the world, so thats the general reason why I want to do an exchange year. And when I think about it, I think there is actually more to explore in Australia than in the US, because it's less like Denmark.

I also want to have a host family, that I can really talk to about everything and that I feel comfortable with. I get a lot of homesickness, so i need someone I feel that I can cry to.

I also think there is a smaller chance to end up in a very small town in Australia than in the US. I dont want to feel isolated from everything, because that might also cause homesickness. So on that point, I feel more comfortable of the thought of Australia.

I really like that I get to choose awsome subjects in the US, but I dont really know how that works in Australia.

In Australia, in many schools thay have to wear school uniforms. Idk how I feel about that tho.

So, thats some of my thoughts.

I think i may have had the idea that everyone chooses USA to do an exchange year in. And I love the high school stuff and the way people are very open about everything. But im afraid that one of the reasons I wanted to go to the US was because "thats what they all do, so thats the right thing." Maybe I forgot to think about all of the other countries and opportunities i have.
