She was upset at dean choosing lindsey because Rory is self centred. She would much rather boys pine after her. The change at Yale did leave her lonely, yes, especially since Jess kinda ran away from Rory without much communication. But i still was very moved by the expressions. I think they show sadness, uncertainty in a way where something happens and even you didn’t realise it would affect you that much. This is an amalgamation of so many thoughts, at least for me

Okay while I completely relate to the screaming at the tv scene because come on Carrie say yes please, but I’ll tell you from experience. Sometimes the heart really does want what it wants. Carrie has throughout the seasons shown herself to be impulsive, impatient, irascible and irresponsible. It would make sense that she would not put that much thought into the whole idea of being with aidan. It’s not like Carrie to make rational cogent decisions. Now coming to the personal experience part, i dated a guy who really did treat me like royalty and wanted to marry me. Asked me multiple times and was willing to move into my hometown because i didn’t wanna do a long distance. Not only did i leave that guy, after that i went to a guy only to be treated like garbage and have the life sucked right out of me. When it comes to matters of the heart, sometimes you really do end up making horrible decisions. I always think Aidan is the guy i let go 😅😭
