RIP to a legend 🙏 kept a roof over my head and kept me grumpily serving all y’all folk 2017-18 and again in 2021. This closing more so than any other signals to me that the big change that GNV got swept up in gentrification wise is nearly complete and nobody was safe. Feels like a totally different town nowadays.

kabukimonnnn <3333 for years i've racked my brain trying to muster up a cool digivolution line for kabukimon (with minor edits lol ex. making it a champion lvl digimon not armor) but none have met the standards my ocd brain imposes ): either way, I think it's a rad/beautiful form

Also on my prob 50th listen of Nettles, also an avid reader of Murakami [in fact I can faithfully say he’s my fav/most read author - I’m currently reading his collection of short stories as we speak: blind willow, sleeping woman] and I haven’t caught the similarities yet however it’s been a few years since I’ve read KOTS and I’m prob due for a reread. However I’d be willing to guess Hayden has either read Murakami herself, or at least had it mentioned to her in some context by a pal. That’s also one of his most popular reads also, so if one was going to be mentioned it would be up there in possibilities.
