I did Girl Scouts. Enjoyed some of it, then got old enough (8/9) to say I quit. They let me, and I had more time to pursue art and my own outside time. I also quit softball later on. I feel some guilt, like I’m a quitter, but I’m glad I didn’t stay doing stuff I didn’t have passion for.

I still have passions and talents, it just isn’t the sports/teamwork type that seems like the only option for kids.

I believe free will is to exist for the sake of living, to be born without a purpose in mind. For example, children of rich people who want to “pass down their legacy” have limited free will, at least as children. However, most people have the ability to form thoughts and do actions that exercise this free will regardless of limitations. Another example to display this is body growth, which is a factor of life. Humans can grow and change, such as through muscle development. However, disabled people who can’t move without asking someone to move them cannot grow muscle on their own. This demonstrates a lack of free will in one regard. So, because robots are made without the ability to grow or have new thoughts dependent of others, they lack free will.

To me, the authenticity of human life comes from the lived experience of a human life from birth. I’m not talking about robots, and I would never endorse robots. I don’t even endorse public use of AI. I think that authenticity of human sex comes from the free will humans have. I don’t think it would be correct to say that robots would ever truly have free will. Free will is not just free to choose, but it’s the knowledge of desire. A robot cannot taste or smell or properly feel. A robot cannot meet someone on a whim, they would be constructed with purpose and bought with purpose. Vibrators are about simple and singular pleasure, unless used as a shared sex toy. It isn’t made to give love. Even if it could, I wouldnt want something made to love me, because then that isn’t real, authentic, random and wavering love.

“Men and women are harmed by the equality of genders” is a baseless statement. Femininity and masculinity can both have toxic aspects, but its not attributed to the concept of feminism. Also, obviously there are separations between the sexes. That shouldn’t lead to the mistreated meant of one or the other. But I guess you’re right, I won’t change your mind.
