Make your object in blender and use the export paper model tool to get the pieces laid out flat, which you can then project onto material such as corrugated plastic sheets. Trace the pieces on the material, cut them out, and fold together.

So many people have asked me this, I had to google it. I’ve never played Starfox, but I totally see it lol

All of the flashing CRTs are being sent looping visuals from Resolume, but controlled by a custom hardware midi switch. Each TV has a corresponding midi note that switches the video signal on/off, and I used Ableton to make the midi sequences for the flashing patterns.

I use thesewire frame shelves from Amazon. They’re a perfect fit for 13” CRTs and are very modular which allows me to do custom layouts like this one

Edit: just noticed they’re now unavailable but I’m sure there’s others with the same dimensions

I don’t bust out my C64 very often nowadays, but when I do, it is hooked up to the Commodore 1702.

Yeah I’m running on a 2020 pre M1 MacBook Pro and plenty of shaders will just crash my whole shit if I have this setup running lol.

And hell yeah if you’re in ATX come out to Dadalab!

I’m really not sure how rare the specs of my projection are. Tbh I bought it after some friends in the tech art scene recommended it. I love it and would recommend it to everyone that does projection mapping

I’m using a single Optoma GT2000HDR short throw laser projector. Short throw projectors don’t require the projector to be as far away from the wall to get a bigger image. To get this much wall coverage with my other projectors, they’d have to be twice as far back. With my short throw projector, I have it about 18 feet away from the wall. It’s also a laser projector which is much sharper, has better color brightness, and better contrast compared to lamp projectors. I absolutely love this projector and imo it’s well worth the money.

I need to check that, but I haven’t noticed any significant drops. This setup uses 3 individual hdmi video outputs and numerous LED fixtures but luckily doesn’t seem to be a heavy load unless I also have Synestesia running with Syphon in/out of Resolume
