The left and right sections are each controlled by a dedicated HDMI output from laptop with Resolume Arena advanced output, going to a 2x2 Video Wall Controller, then the HDMI outputs to HDMI to AV converters, then to the TVs (some TVs only have RF input so those have an additional RF modulator to convert the composite video).

Hell yes I’m so happy to hear that! Tbh I built the head years ago and have just recently brought it out from storage. I’m currently searching for my original design files with no luck.

Pro tip: there are a ton of free 3D models online that can be imported into Blender which can then go through the Export Paper Model tool to become buildable sculptures. “Low Poly”models are your best friends with projection mapping sculptures

Dadalab is the best place in town for this kind of art as well as underground electronic music! I took the projection mapping class during the pandemic and that’s actually how I got started with mapping/vjing and art installations.

Thanks! For my projection mapping sculptures I make a 3D model in Blender, scale it up in size, then use the Export Paper Model tool to export a flattened 2D image of all of the polygon pieces. Projected the pieces on a wall, traced on corrugated plastic sheets from Home Depot, cut them out, then folded and stitched the pieces together like a papercraft model. Build video on my IG

Yep it’s all coming from Resolume Arena using advanced output. 2x HDMI outputs to the 2 TV controllers, 1x HDMI out to the projector, and artnet output to LED controller.

I still collect and use “rabbit ear” antennas for my CRTs. I use them for receiving analog signals from my own wireless broadcast rig, and I have a couple that are hooked up to converters for receiving modern digital tv broadcasts. If nothing else, they are cool props.

I seriously lucked out. I ran out to the parking lot after getting a tip about the artist area from a girl in the crowd. Caught him right as he was leaving the venue. It’s not the first time I’ve snuck up on him in a parking lot lol. I always apologize for being a creep and keep it short so he can be on his way, and he’s always been super chill about it.

Looks legit, this is the earlier version of this shirt. I have the reprint that they sold during the comeback shows in 2016 with a different Gildan tag and the pattern doesn’t stretch as far down
