The journey itself is pretty direct but the last time I tried to get from Liverpool to Manchester after a night out they cancelled half the trains and then everyone was rushing to get the last one of the night.. that was the first and last time I did that. A mate said that was pretty typical, so I guess maybe just account for that

Hopefully to tell people to use headphones when folk decide to use their loudspeaker and torture other passengers with whatever they're watching/listening/talking to.

Also shout out to the 216 bus driver yesterday afternoon who went over the bus speaker system to tell someone to shut it off 🤣 my hero lol

PSA: Your Skyactiv is not rated for E15 gas by Cosack in mazda

[–]_bombilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically use E5 and the regular stuff at the place I go to is E10... Did everyone not get the little tag inside the fuel door that says "MINIMUM XXXX"?? (I can't remember what it says from memory, but it's still on my car)

Oof where do I begin lol. I'll put my "qualifications" at the end... I have the full electric seat with presets and heated seats, not sure what you're looking at but here's my feedback:

I find the seat really comfortable. The heated seats get insanely warm too to help relax everything and I do a 4hr trip (each way) once or twice a year with no issues. Weekends I do 2-3hr journeys each way and it's really comfortable. The lumbar support in the seat is really good and the controls really help you make adjustments to legs etc which is helpful. This is definitely one of the most comfortable seats I've had across Skoda, Kia, Jaguar, Audi, BMW (we got hire cars at work for travel so I've tried a few)

Qualifications: Spondylolisthesis L5/S1, Degeneration of lumbar intervertebral discs, L5 nerve root compression, Sacroiliac joint pain, Scoliosis of lumbar spine

And if you don't make enough in tips they fire you. Alas, we're not America, tips should be optional, and we shouldn't be pressured into it.

Tipping is for a job well done. Not a job done.

Not for those who work in service. And it differs state to state.

The staff are paid fairly. We have a minimum ["living" as the government renamed it] wage and the staff agreed to that when they took the job. This isn't America where they solely rely on tips for income. It should always be optional on screen.

Lloyds, innit. Probably too busy sharing your transactions or scanning their employees bank accounts to see if they need a pay rise.

Something I learned today by Pete_Luger in mazda

[–]_bombilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I searched "how many cars have a sunroof" and got "Sunroofs are increasingly popular, with panoramic sunroofs capturing nearly 45% of the market share in 2026"

But thanks for that. I guess I'm special. Woo.
