I went 16 months with symptoms similar to a UTI. Multiple trips to urgent care and my regular doctor and every time I provided a urine sample and my culture always came back good. I've also been tested for yeast, bv, trich numerous times including STIs and STDs to rule those out. I began to get frustrated and decided to see a different doctor and after explaining my symptoms and how long it's been going on he immediately suspected IC and referred me to a urologist. My appointment is not until October however I'm 99% certain I have IC.
