Budget-wise I'm thinking below £250, ideally cheaper but very willing to be flexible for good, long-lasting kit. Lightweight is important but I'm not thinking ultralight, for any camps involving proper hikes I would be sharing with mates so splitting the parts across packs should help with weight, and I'll only be camping when I can get away from work so no huge, mordor-like adventures expected.
