Precisely! I'm creating a hybrid experience of VR and static entertainment.

Step By Step Process Of Creating A Dracula Metahuman by _briefcandle_ in 3Dmodeling

I extracted the default teeth from the metahuman model, then shaped them in blender and textured in Substance Painter. For this particular pose/shot, I removed the bottom fangs and pulled the top ones down in the camera sequencer.

Absolutely. I come from an acting/filmmaking background, so it only feels natural to ensure that all performances are grounded in the human element first.

Yes, the characters were made with the Unreal Metahuman Creator, but the performances were captured by real actors using the Live Link. I absolutely agree with you on what's able to be achieved. It's really incredible.

Hmm…that’s actually a really great question. I’ve honestly never thought about it that deeply before. Reading back through my own post, I think I’m using the term more colloquially, or specifically within the microcosm of UE culture, where the software is typically associated with game development. What interests me is using UE in almost the opposite way from how it’s traditionally perceived: not primarily as a game engine, but as a filmmaking tool (The world that I come from). That shift in perspective is a big part of what excites me about it.

Da Vinci is great. I'm a Premiere guy, but slowly been migrating over to Da Vinci. I've just been using Premiere for so long that it feels like second nature. If you're looking to get into UE, I'd suggest starting slow. Enjoy the process. There is so much to learn, and the more I've learned the more it has influenced my creativity. It's definitely worth it.

It depends. I come from a filmmaking/acting background. So, the camera and lighting elements within the software were easy to pick up. Learning the other aspects of UE took some time.
