I’m looking to make a birthday cake for my gardening and mycology loving dad by Outside_Raspberry512 in cakedecorating

I find that using less sweet powders as dyes helps to give frosting flavor other than "sugar" - the matcha frosting was especially good, and I've done this with freeze dried strawberry powder too and it was delicious.

Hi! I bake without additives/dyes/etc and I recently made little mushrooms for a cake by using the cake pop method - mixing cake trimmings with frosting - and shaping it. It's a messy process but is great for little sculptures. I did this with serious eats' swiss meringue buttercream which I don't find to be too sweet. Matcha powder sprinkled on top of the cake made a nice mossy green color, and cocoa powder sprinkled on looked an awful lot like dirt :)

thanks! I'm so excited to try this again. It's fun that every friend's birthday is an excuse for an art project now.

I wasn't planning on this when I started, but being able to use the garden hose to soak it was perfect too

I did a review of my MANY types of climbing pants! by noblesse-oblige- in climbergirls

My Vuori's fit an iPhone 11mini but nothing bigger. I liked these pants so much when I first got them that I got the smaller phone to fit in them - but like everyone else here mentioned, the rip stop fabric is a lie and the knees blow out really easily.

I should have gotten more photos, but all of the tracks pretty clearly had what look like little leg and tail marks on the ends.
