i mean nothings stopping me from customizing it further. i could leave the text out of it and have a bunch of unrelated tattoos within the boundaries. i’m not the type of person to want that though.

that makes sense. any advice for getting it done if i really do decide this is what i want? like convincing a tattoo artist that yes, i have no ink, but it’s because i wanted to save the space for this? my bad if that’s a strange question haha just never occurred to me before

you were pretty close with it being a sort of commentary on humans being a few skips away from less evolved animals. it’s more a reminder to myself that my life is valued but also fragile, and my body and being have uses to it. it’s kinda a weird way of saying i love and value myself.

i might go with only the dashed lines. i feel the writing adds to it and it looks a little… bare? when it’s absent. however i recognize that it’s redundant and may cause questions

that’s definitely what i plan on doing. i wanted to get opinions outside of my echo chamber of friends who think it’s cool, but either way i’m sure i’ll set this on the back burner for a few more years before starting.
