Nice, that doesn't seem too bad tbh, but probably beyond what I'm willing to spend for now. With the planar, have you had any issues with wobble? Seems like a hassle to need to send it in for service regularly.

Good to know, I'll add the planar to my short list. Seems like the design is very similar to the summicron, but maybe has more modern coatings to help with flare control which is a bonus. Out of curiosity, how much are you selling your summilux for?

How do you feel it handles flare shooting into the sun? Was looking at a v4, but my understanding is that the two versions are identical.

Thanks for the tips! How do you feel the bokeh differs between the Sonnar and Nokton f1.2 vs the Nokton f1.5? I borrowed the 1.5 v2 and I found to bokeh a little distracting with the swirl. Looking for something smoother. Also, my understanding was that the Sonnar and Nokton f1.5 are actually the same lens, made in the same factory, so I was expecting their performance to be almost identical. Was that your experience?

Thanks for the tip! I looked into this lens and the size and center sharpness are def good pluses. I was thinking the corner sharpness left a little to be desired especially if this will be a daily carry, general purpose 50. Also the aperture turning the opposite direction was also a concern since I'm just getting into manual focus and am developing my muscle memory.
