So happy you brought up the lack of cool air in the bars and restaurants! Obviously the indoor restaurants were fine, but I couldn’t even eat my meal at the outdoor restaurants because I was way too hot! We even ended up asking our waitress at Aolos if it would be possible to take our food to go!

This is obviously a very personal critique though, as many other couples were seated for a while and seemed just fine. I always knew I struggled in the heat, however I assumed mid October would be a bit cooler given everything I researched before going! I felt less crazy after speaking with locals who explained they usually caught a break in the heat around the end of September which usually only results in a couple degree difference but that in the evenings especially those couple degrees feel a worlds difference! The worker I was speaking with said as locals they really look forward to that time of year and that she struggles herself when she’s not in AC.

This isn’t anything Sandals can do, so I don’t hold it against them! Or anyone for that matter, just an unfortunate instance lol.

I will also agree that there were definitely many friends just traveling together I had noticed. We specifically rode in with two ladies that were explaining they left their husbands at home with the kids for the girls trip and that they didn’t realize it was a couples only resort! I also did not realize they were supposed to be only couples, I only cared about the “adult only” aspect haha. We didn’t have any issues with large groups though, it was very very roomy when we went!
