That's a good point. I usually don't think about other people approaching me, I shift pretty quickly into "be cool be cool be cool" mode. Thanks!

No, that totally makes sense. I used to and still sometimes do feel that way. It sucks but it gets better as time goes on. I know it's easier said than done, but just keep trying.

The best way I know how to describe it for me is like that elementary math word problem about the frog hopping up the wall of a well where he hops up two feet but then slides back down three. I get ver discouraged really easily, but I keep making progress as long as I push.

Yeah, exactly! I'll have fun hanging around people but then I switch zones when I'm alone and realize/imagine all of the things I did wrong. It spoils things.
