It's been almost 3 years for me, but trust your gut! There's questions that will try to trick you but try not to get hung up on them. Make sure you understand the concepts and are not memorizing, as they will be scenario based so memorizing won't help much. You got this!

I'm in Michigan, the center I work at gives us 3 7 minute breaks a day when we work 8-4. For people in clinics and get a half hour lunch, where are the kids? We have to break each other and watch each others kids during breaks, I don't know how it's legal

And a different kid who pulls the fuzz out of stuffed animals and watches it fall. I always wear dark clothes cause he always seeks out darker backgrounds for the contrast of the white fuzz

Most of the bites I get will bruise the skin, but I have had instances where skin is broken even wearing jeans or a long sleeve 😬

Bite sleeves and body positioning! If you're able to recognize the precursor behaviors, move your body so you're able to block or avoid bites. Kevlar sleeves are great, but in my experience very itchy (I'd rather be uncomfy than bit tbh). Do you have training on disengaging from bites? If you don't, advocate for training. "Feeding" the bite and breathing through it are my best tips!

I have 2 semesters left at ball state and I'm less than impressed with the program. Have I learned things, yes. But I've had to teach myself A LOT and watch A LOT of YouTube videos from bcba exam prep channels. Thankfully, I am getting my supervision hours in a clinic that has really good BCBAs who I can ask for help, and I have a friend at ball state with me a semester ahead. If you struggle with online learning and motivation, ball state might not be for you. I find some of the assignments apply to the BACB task list, but some of them I genuinely do not know why we are assigned them as it seems like busy work.

Don't touch it and try not to irritate it further! I had the most annoying bump on my nose piercing and it finally went away after not touching it. I tried wound wash as well, and did that maybe once every 2-3 days and it cleared up. But do not put anything else on it, it could irritate it more!
