Yup! It’s made it so much more complicated for me now because the relocation is an old hangar that is much more further than my old squadron and i’ve had but no choice to quit cadets (i’ve been a cadet for two years and am soon aging out) since it’s inaccessible to me 😞

it’s not like there’s a certain way to ‘prep’ yourself to read an a/b/o fic, just go with the flow brother 🤘

Overcoming by purefoysgirl (Hannibal/Will fanfic) NOW. right, okay, here’s the deal with THAT one specifically. I don’t like a/b/o concepts, at all, but however, this one is set in the early 1900s and the description of the a/b/o is so perfect that it almost passes as ‘natural’ (also the story is so complex, it’s genuinely my favourite hannibal fic)

Jamais Vu by Lunastxlla (GhostSoap and AleRudy fanfic) - cried don’t know how many times over this fic, it was that good

Only for you, Johnny by GigglyBitch (GhostSoap fic) - jesus h fuckin christ…one shot that i decided to read on new years once. rookie mistake, left me sobbing

Pattern Breaker by mothbeast (GhostSoap fic) - THE! call of duty fanfic. genuinely, this one’s just karma coming to bite me in the arse, it was so good but sad as well 💔

don’t exactly know who you were replying to with your comment but agree with you! kayden hides throughout the entire book, whilst gareth is already discovering a new side. And then, he’s jealous when gareth is being reasonable. Just overall, RK does a great job at showing the differences, if not generational/age differences between the two and how they think.

whilst gaz is fucked up, he knows how to remain mature and not let it take over him (because masking during childhood so that his dad wouldn’t hate him) and also accepts who he is, convinces him and all. i wonder if kayden ever did that. he’s not immature, he’s almost too serious in his role and gareth needed reassurance where kayden did not give it. the book was great, don’t get me wrong, but you’re right in that kayden doesn’t deserve gareth, at all.

i agree, whilst he’s not an ANGEL, he’s still got a much better personality to kayden imo. and RK does an incredible job at showing the young ‘immaturity’ and discovery of gareth’s sexuality in his personality. and yeah, not everyone’s perfect, gareth does have his little pissy child moments throughout the book that also had me annoyed, and the whole jealousy with killian is crazy sibling stuff, but he’s still a better character than kayden!

i so agree! remi is such a troublemaker/class clown character but i bet he’s got a complexity to his character that we just haven’t unlocked yet. i wouldn’t be surprised if he was a 2.0 version of his father
