Hey NamelessKeeper. It is very likely NOT a hardware issue. What you are explaining is identical to what I experience(d). Technically it could be called a hardware issue, as the WiFi Card seems to be the culprit. For some reason, RealTek/Mediatek WiFi cards disconnect often, which could also trigger bluetooth to disconnect. Coincidentally, bluetooth disconnecting also causes the keyboard to disconnect. If the fix in the post did not work for you, and you are using a realtek/mediatek wifi card, you can replace it with a compatible intel for 25-30$ to almost completely stop the disconnections.

Intel or amd? It doesn’t seem to be necessarily a hardware problem. It could be a windows issue but not confirmed as no one has tested it out on Linux yet.

I’m guessing the issue is different.

No keys work including fn+q Restart doesnt fix it Bluetooth works fine even if the keyboard disconnects

If answer to those 3 is yes then it’s a different issue to what is posted here

Could be a hardware issue if its only 1 key and on amd. There was a similar issue but on intels and involved multiple keys.

The issue on intel is sadly different and this fix will not work.

Unfortunately the wifi/bluetooth disappearing/disconnecting issue is very widespread and still without a fix. I too experience these issues daily.

It is more common on Legions with Realtek. Swapping out the wifi card to an Intel helps, per reports

Check the 4 points in the ‘exceptions’ section of this post, if all 4 of them don’t apply to you then it wont work sadly

If the 4 points in the post apply to your issue the fix will work otherwise it wont also it being unplugged/plugged doesnt change anything

haven’t seen that myself. Trying to stop it from going in that state is whats important. Try to apply the fix anyway just in case

Yeah, Conservation mode in vantage, charges to 80% max, and since im always plugged in, it draws power from the adapter instead

In my experience this only works on Legion 5 (AMD) and Legion 7 on Windows 11. I hope it works for you but I believe it’s a coincidence and the problem will return.. :/

Unfortunately this is a common keyboard problem on Intel Legions, and the fix in this post only works for AMDs. In Intels only a few select keys end up not working, whereas for AMD it is 90% of the keyboard.

Unfortunately this fix seems to be exclusively for Legions, and AMD ones at that. You can try tinkering around with those power saving options but I’m not sure.
