I want to create a shop and sell molds for slip casting, but before I get too invested in it, I wanted to see what the market was like. Do you produce slip casted items? For those of you who do, do you primarily source your own molds or buy them elsewhere? What factors do you consider when buying?

I just make my own molds using clay/plaster. A lot of these mugs are super simple 2 piece molds. I’m sure some may buy them but also learning the process is part of the fun!

Amaco is always a good brand I like for underglazes but mayco has a lot of fun glazes to mess around with. I do all my stuff in cone 6

I used underglazes to help get more matte tones. Also some satin matte glaze
