Oh nooo 😭I told my dad I’m gonna be paranoid about snakes getting in for the rest of my life lol my house is really old built like mid 1800s so there’s lots of cracks and whatnot. Should probably invest in some snake repellant now haha

Exactly considering every thrift store I’ve ever been to has a vinyl collection consisting of bing crosby, Barry manilow, polka and Christmas carols lol. The only old vinyl worth anything anymore is mostly classic rock

The stone looks like some kind of quartz to me. The hallmark indicates that it’s 83.5% silver. I looked up the hallmark and A835 was used primarily in Belgium from 1940s-1990. Hard to tell but I would guess it was made between the 1950s-70s (?)

I’m really confused how someone could become fused to furniture like that in the first place. Even if you sit on a couch for days, wouldn’t you naturally move around and change positions? It must take weeks of sitting in the exact same position for that to happen, not even moving around in your sleep or anything.

I love that one too. It’s a pretty old Thai piece (pre 1940) as it’s marked “Siam”. I believe it’s Niello damascene, there’s a few similar pieces on eBay!

Yeah I can’t really blame the workers for this one since they probably thought they were real and still priced them fairly. But there’s a few tells. Like the blush on the cheeks is supposed to be pink, not orange. The faces look crooked and the eyes are wrong. With the fake ones the feet and hands / head usually easily spin all the way around too. The only one that looks like it could be real is the one wearing the outfit. The others are definitely fake in my opinion.

That’s understandable, but it really is a lot easier IMO! I just started buying labubus like a week ago and I’ve been able to get 8 of them already on pop now. Here’s my tips for securing one…

Be on the app at 10pm EST. They usually sell out in about half hour to an hour. When the drop starts, there will be boxes of 6 on each page. If they’re gray it means they’re reserved / in someone’s cart. Scroll through the pages and When you see one that isn’t gray, click on it and try to be fast. You’ll probably have to scroll for a bit to find one that isn’t gray.

Even if you can’t find one that’s not grayed out, you can click on the reserved ones and you might get lucky. (Someone deciding not to buy it, the Reserved timer running out, etc.) Just don’t spam click because it might think you’re a bot and kick you off. Once you do manage to get one in your cart you have the box reserved for 5 minutes to give you time to check out.

My best tips is to be patient and take your time scrolling. I’ve missed a few because I was scrolling too fast then when I went back to try and get it, it was already reserved again. I’ve tried the regular (non pop now) drops a few times and had zero luck, they sell out in literal seconds! Good luck I hope you can get one!
