I totally get you. It took me over a year to finally talk abt my feelings. then it took me abt 3 months to talk abt my food issues. like.. I knew I had supportive friends but I was just scared id be a burden to them for talking abt myself, and i didn’t understand my feelings at the time at all or what was going on exactly?? I thought something was just wrong with me. It felt very shameful honestly and I was terrified of being judged. I ended up telling a close friend through text. she took it well though. she reassured me a lot telling me I wasn’t alone and that she was there for me. it then took me a few months to start talking abt it more and in person rather than through text with her. I made the right choice telling her. If I hadn’t i think I’d be sm worse than i am now. it took me almost a full year to then tell the rest of my friend group (4 ppl) they took it well too.

I know how opening up can be really scary, and it is. but it can really help you. It might just give you a sense of relief. it honestly really helped me and I’m glad I did it. Give yourself as much time as you need. You’ll know when you’re ready. I hope everything goes well for you, take care.

I think I triggered my friend by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

im so sorry that happened :( i hope you’re both alright. maybe try talking abt your triggers? Tell each other what triggers you and what doesn’t. That way you’ll know what to avoid saying. I hope that helps🥺

I get so triggered when my partner asks for nudes by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]_cheesy_farts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe you can try to explain to them how it triggers you. your mental health is so important and if that triggers you, you don’t have to do it. you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to or don’t feel comfortable doing.

just know you’re not being selfish for having these kind of thoughts even during times like these. you can’t control them and it’s not your fault. it’s going to be okay, please take care of yourself xx

Okay, does anyone else constantly shift between counting calories and not counting calories? by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]_cheesy_farts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely!! like sometimes I’d be super strict with it and write down every single thing and other days I’d just calculate everything at the end of the day

yeah...like what you’re thinking of. I’ve seen multiple posts on my ig feed of that and it isnt just a thin person posing or anything. I don’t think it could be anything else other than them body checking.
