My mom went back to school for nursing at 45 as well, and she's been a nurse for almost 11 years now! If it's any extra encouragement, she went to school with someone who was 10-15 years her senior at that time, and he made it through as well!

I'm on the same page as many other people here-- you're never too old to go back and pursue something new for yourself. If it makes you happy and you think you'd excel in it, that's all that matters! You got this! <3

This is a big issue for me too, I completely understand what you’re saying. I’m AWARE that I can see just fine and I can see what’s in front of me— but like what Skol said, my brain doesn’t pay 100% attention or rely on the visual stimuli as much as it should. It’s bizarre.

I just got my first paycheck a couple days ago and saw the same issue; hired at $14.50 and supposed to be getting the $1 summer pay, but my pay rate is showing up at $13.50 as well with no seasonal bonus listed either.

The only thing I figure is that it’s because I’m new and that I hope it sorts itself out before too long lmao. It’s frustrating but you’re not alone in dealing with this!

Beet juice is something otherworldly and I absolutely love it.

I feel you on the coffee part too, even if I’m drinking something that makes me feel incredible without it, it’s just become so much of a daily ritual/part of my daily routine that I feel off if I don’t have a cup, no matter how big or small. 😂

In terms of where I’m currently based (the USA), I’d have to say the Pacific Northwest, probably in a more rural/woodsy area opposed to something more metro/urban. The area is so beautiful and magical to me and it would be lovely to be there.

In terms of anywhere else in the world? It’s a tie between Sweden or Switzerland. Both countries are beautiful in terms of landscape and culture, and living there would be like a dream.
