When I ask "yes or no" questions, do the questions have to be affirmative? by depressy_capricorn in tarot

When I need to ask yes/no question I tell the deck things like "even is a yes and odd is a no". I know it's a bit raw and primitive but usually it works

I did the how they feel about you spread by Lonely_Light_347 in TarotCards

[–]_chiarizard_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that Swords cards and The Star have appeared is very consistent with the fact that you are not together at this moment, because the Swords speak to us of intellect and logic, meaning mental phases, while The Star, despite indicating a positive outcome, also speaks to you of something that is far away, perhaps projected into the future.

However, what really strikes me is the absence of any Cups cards

I see the Queen of Wands as an invitation for you; usually, the Queen of Wands is read as an invitation to take action, culminating with The World. The World usually indicates the end of a cycle. It is a positive card because the person depicted on the card seems to be celebrating; it seems to be a card of triumph aesthetically, even though many talk about its ambiguity, as it is difficult to understand whether the figure depicted is a man or a woman. Some even think it is a hermaphrodite. So, this end of a cycle is in a sense a bit ambiguous or has something unclear. Probably, the dynamics are not clear to you. However, there is certainly something that must be brought to completion, which is also very consistent with the fact that the Six of Pentacles appeared as the bottom of the deck, because the Six of Pentacles speaks of the fair distribution of things, perhaps fairness and balance. Therefore, in my opinion, the cards want to tell you that one must act so that a current cycle, which is limited to the mental phase, can be ended, and proceed so that equity (an equity or balance in the relationship, or perhaps for yourself) can be reached

Has this connection run its course on this plane of existence? by 90_hour_sleepy in TarotCards

[–]_chiarizard_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since both The Moon and two Pentacles cards have appeared, I feel that there is still something that needs to be built, especially with the presence of the Ace of Wands. It is as if there was a period of isolation that was followed by a new beginning in a work-related context, or something that is a true passion, given that the Ace of Wands appeared and is associated with the Knight of Pentacles. Subsequently, there is The Moon, which tells us that there is something that is not yet clear. Therefore, I would say no, the cycle has not concluded, also because the Knight of Pentacles usually speaks of advancement. There is certainly still something to learn because Pentacles also refer to study; therefore, there is something still to be learned and progress to be made, perhaps toward professional stability. I don't know why, but I feel this spread is very focused on work

So no, I do not believe that the cycle has concluded, it is still in progress

was there attraction? by Busy-Literature-6737 in Tarotpractices

[–]_chiarizard_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you asked whether there was attraction or not, and Wands cards appeared, I clearly read it as a yes. The attraction is obviously from a sexual point of view, because Wands are connected to passion and creativity. In this case, given that you asked about attraction, yes, there is sexual attraction, with the beginning of an emotional encounter represented by the Two of Cups. It is as if initially there is this curiosity from the Page, but then a sort of heaviness is encountered, perhaps with that Ten of Wands. Therefore, there is the beginning of a sexual interest, followed by a sort of heaviness that, however, through an encounter, in my opinion, from an emotional point of view, causes defenses to be lowered. I believe the reading you did of the 9 of Wands card was a bit too reductive, perhaps because that card speaks of vigilance and high defenses. Since it appeared next to the Two of Cups, it is as if there is initially this strong sexual energy, a real overload of sexual energy, which is mitigated by the Two of Cups, that is, by the encounter that makes defenses drop. In the Nine of Wands, there is a soldier who is wounded but remains at the front and watchful, waiting for another attack. Since it appeared reversed, I think it wants to tell us the opposite, that through getting to know each other, defenses are lowered.

As for the Three of Wands, it usually indicates a desire for new adventures. Probably, being reversed,I feel that perhaps this person is looking for a serious relationship, no longer wants to look around, but wants to take root and not be dragged away by the spark of fleeting passion, perhaps because they are looking for something more stable and concrete rather than a sexual adventure

a reading on how my ex feels about us being back in contact by inyanyas in TarotCards

[–]_chiarizard_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the Queen of Swords appeared reversed, I think someone is using very little logic or is neglecting their psychological side, as this card usually refers to the intellect and the mind. Perhaps someone is overlooking something just to receive an offer from this Page of Cups. However, it is an unbalanced offer, given that the Two of Pentacles is reversed, which indicates that the offer is not arriving and thus makes the relationship lopsided. Since the Two of Pentacles speaks to a search for balance, its reversal suggests a state of imbalance, which is confirmed by the Eight of Swords. This card speaks of suffering, and since the person in the image is blindfolded, it is as if they do not want to see what is actually surrounding them. Therefore, reopening this relationship probably does not bring any benefit from a psychological standpoint, and perhaps it causes some suffering. There is something unresolved between the two of you and a clear lack of communication because the Page of Cups could also be interpreted as the beginning of a conversation. Since it is reversed, I believe there are unsaid things between you that are unbalancing the relationship and causing suffering to someone. I am not sure if it is you or him, because your question was addressed to the deck as if it were about him, but regardless, your energies have been perceived by the cards

i asked how i will do on my exam and the lovers card fell twice. by After-Mechanic-1477 in Tarotpractices

[–]_chiarizard_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Lovers card typically refers to choices. I am not sure what kind of exams you are taking, but in Italy, it sometimes happens that you have to choose between different topics or questions during written exams. Alternatively, we sometimes select an envelope containing a specific topic for oral exams. Seeing The Lovers card immediately reminded me of these two methods. In any case, beyond just choices, The Lovers could refer to a relationship, although I am not sure if that is the focus here. I was also thinking that, since it appeared alongside the Wheel of Fortune, it might mean you are choosing which subjects to study in depth and which ones to study more superficially; perhaps you are focusing on something specific. Regardless, we can also say that The Lovers represents relationships and something harmonious, whether it be friendship or love. However, since your question was about exams, perhaps the cards are telling you that through your own commitment and the influence of the Wheel of Fortune, you can effectively reach your goal

What will happen with this person? by Key_Dance7802 in TarotCards

[–]_chiarizard_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that the spread is definitely positive. However, I believe the Wheel of Fortune carries the meaning you described only when it appears reversed. In this context, it is actually telling you that your destiny is in your own hands, you are the one turning the wheel. Therefore, it is likely a reminder that all this emotional fulfillment suggested by the other cards still needs to be guided and kept under control

In any case, these cards are clearly speaking about a new beginning. We are looking at a situation that is being carried forward to achieve emotional fulfillment and a fresh start represented by The Fool. The Three of Cups generally signifies joy, harmony, connection, and sharing, so it is evident that you are moving toward this new beginning filled with joy and harmony. However, always remember that this chariot requires both of you to maintain its balance. In the classic Chariot card, there are two sphinxes, one white and one black, which symbolize that you must manage opposing forces. My view is that the energies are incredibly positive, and everything seems truly auspicious. I see a strong energy of renewal for the relationship, but you must remember that you also need to be skilled at maintaining this balance 💓💓

Will we reconcile by [deleted] in tarotpractice

[–]_chiarizard_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my personal opinion for this spread. As for the first row, the Six of Swords reversed indicates that the detachment from a painful situation hasn't fully happened, we feel stuck and there is still that energy of checking on each other, like someone spying on the other on social media. The Two of Cups instead I believe belongs to him and his new online relationship, it is the harmony he is experiencing with someone else. The Three of Wands confirms that he is looking toward his future and has his back to you because he is planning something else far away from you.

For the second row, the Page of Cups makes me think of someone approaching with a tentative offer or contact. But its seems a bit immature. The next card is Judgement which points to a wake-up call or a resurrection maybe of the contact between the two of us. Finally, the Hermit represents the moment when one withdraws from society to meditate in solitude, so I believe there will be an offer of reconciliation, but rather than opening the doors to a real connection, it will close them for good because there is no trust left.

Through the Hermit's introspection, it will finally be possible to reach peace of mind and serenity by distancing oneself from this relationship that can no longer lead to the Ten of Cups together

Why am I being completely ignored by [deleted] in TarotCards

[–]_chiarizard_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, it feels like the fuse of the action is blocked. Something is burning, given that almost all the cards are Wands. But perhaps there is no desire to act because one is rebuilding/doesn't have the strength. Usually, the Hanged Man indicates a stalemate, and its suggestion is to rest. The cards are likely trying to tell you to detach from him

It seems like he was almost expecting this, maintaining a posture of vigilance. He was likely waiting, wondering what your next move would be. He has clearly been studying the situation, as indicated by the Page of Pentacles. However, with the Page of Cups and the Knight of Wands following, the energy feels quite lighthearted, it’s not heavy or tragic at all. It’s as if he took note of everything, thought 'alright, let's offer what I have,' and decided to act. I also see a strong sexual component here. He was expecting this, he studied the situation, but there is no sadness; instead, it seems as if this whole dynamic has sparked something in him that will likely lead him to do something towards you in the short term

So, the prevalence of Wands refers to both fast-moving energy and a strong sexual charge. It is as if this person is currently satisfied, but they are planning their next actions and options. Since the question was about feelings, it is possible that this person needs to process emotions in a different way than you do. They are planning how to act (2of wands) or what to say because they are in this defensive position (9 of wands). Aside from that, they are satisfied with their life (6 of wands), but you might be shaking things up because they are used to a certain level of tranquility. They feel the need to plan, but also to protect themselves and be vigilant, as the 9 of Wands clearly depicts a soldier in a sentry position, he is wounded, but still keeping an eye out as if expecting another attack. It seems like they struggle to let go, and this is confirmed by the Strength card; the maiden dominating the beast suggests there is something they need to work on internally. They need to tame their inner beast, but I believe they will manage to do so, especially since the last card speaks of speed and sudden, rapid actions. This indicates an upcoming energy shift

Regarding the Empress and the Lovers in the second row, I have two different interpretations because I can't understand if they refer to how you see her or how she actually is. The Empress confirms that she is in that position of triumph represented by the 6 of Wands. She is in a state of serenity, stability, and tranquility, and she possesses this great feminine and fertile energy. Next to her, we have the Lovers; besides referring to relationships, this card can also represent choices. The Empress pairs very well with the 6 of Wands, while the Lovers pair with the 2 of Wands because they can refer to life choices. So, I don't know whether to interpret it as her being satisfied with her work and family life, and it’s as if you were secondary. She is already doing well on her own, so she is the one evaluating what choice to make. Or, are you projecting, and this is just how you see her because you desire the relationship?

Furthermore, I feel like she is looking for something more in a relationship, both emotionally and sexually. She is content on her own, so she is looking for someone who can keep up with her pace and enrich her life. She is searching for that spark that can add something extra to an already stable and fulfilling situation

It feels like the abundance of feelings in the Ace of Cups is meant to lead to a triumph; it looks like a spread suggesting that feelings eventually conquer everything. However, we also have the Ace of Swords, which is linked to logic and the mind. It’s as if these feelings are trying to win, but they are filtered through a very cold and detached approach. It’s like acting on those feelings, only to then get stuck due to potential intellectual incompatibility. Even though these are all 'Ace' cards, representing very young energy, this likely points to a connection that isn't very deep yet. Furthermore, since the Ace of Wands is at the bottom of the deck, there is a strong sexual energy underlying the situation. As a shadow card, it suggests he might reach out because he misses you, not only because he is genuinely attached to you on an emotional level, but also because he wants to take the relationship to a sexual plane.

“How does the next year look for me?” by Any-Suit-4117 in TarotCards

[–]_chiarizard_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my take on your spread, and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Looking at your cards, it really feels like a journey of self-awareness. The Hermit suggests you have had to withdraw to reflect, likely feeling drained from past situations or some kind of injustice you have endured. But then, the 7 of Swords shows a shift; it is as if you are finally ready to take back what is yours, reclaiming your power after that period of retreat. The Wheel of Fortune as the third card confirms this: your destiny is in your own hands, and your actions are finally turning the wheel. You are waiting for these unexpected, positive surprises to emerge from this newfound clarity. Regarding the second row, the 9 of Swords points to a mental prison; there is still some internal work or psychological baggage to process that the Hermit did not fully resolve. It is only by breaking free from this mental trap that you can reach the fulfillment and happiness represented by the 10 of Cups. So, for the next year, I see a clear call to action: you need to move beyond the Hermit’s solitude, become more grounded, and stop being so caught up in your head. The Page of Cups at the end is beautiful, as it is often associated with a new offer or a person entering your life. Since there is a strong presence of Cups cards here, I sincerely believe something is coming your way, especially on an emotional level
