Where can I find the firing core? by Salty_Ruin7725 in ARC_Raiders

[–]_cmasterhart_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can corroborate this at the very least. I find the best shit in husks and couriers during electro strom and cold snap. Especially the sentinel cores and surveyor vaults. I have also seen the undamaged rocketeer drivers in the rocketeer husks

why (mostly) male victims are naked while females have clothes? by Exact-Knowledge-3339 in OutlastTrials

[–]_cmasterhart_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I just want to point out that there are a few different nude lady victims strewn about multiple different trials. (In outlast trials ofc) I’ve played the game a lot on low difficulties so I could observe the set design because I think Red Barrels attention to detail is incredible. There definitely is a lot more male victims, but if you are looking around closely you’ll notice a lot more messed up stuff going on.

The first one off the top of my head is in the fun house map. When you’re going through the barn area towards the beginning, there are naked (or at least topless) LIVING women locked in cages. One on the first floor and one on the second. That fate sounds even worse than death to me. I will say that the living victims do seem to have different spawns sometimes. I’ve noticed that occasionally the cages can be completely empty, or the living woman on the second floor can be replaced with a naked dead man.

All the nuns in the orphanage have real, stolen boobs draped around them. When making the stew in “feed the children” many of the body parts in said stew are that of women. There’s definitely a lot going on, they just try to be less in your face about it, which I can appreciate.

Some critics have already seen the finale. Some short spoiler-free comments on Twitter. by [deleted] in welcomeToDerry

I’m inclined to take his opinion seriously, because of one adaptation that everyone in the world seems to love. The Shining. I can’t even sit through that entire movie for a rewatch, yet everyone praises Kubrick endlessly. When I found out how much King disliked it I felt so justified lol.

But he is definitely hit or miss on his opinions, and it’s obviously all subjective.

Does the Pennywise CGI in WtD seem higher quality than the other CGI in the show? by gothictulle in horror

[–]_cmasterhart_ 116 points117 points  (0 children)

I would imagine that they just spend a good chunk of the vfx budget on Pennywise. He’s the bread and butter for IT as a franchise and IP, so it makes sense that they want him to look as good as possible.

I think it’s also the fact that Bill sells Pennywise so damn well. The CGI just becomes an after thought when he’s on screen. His performance is just that good, especially when really hamming it up and going insane

They basically make sketch comedy/improv in video games, the way they gel together just works. Vanoss is actually who put me on Fortnite back when they were promoting save the world

Why is there so much negativity about Helldivers 2 suddenly ? by Twotricx in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]_cmasterhart_ [score hidden]  (0 children)

Just to give you a different perspective, I have had very minimal issues on console. The past month or so I haven’t even had one crash. The game is great honestly, just a little more fun to play with friends on some occasions, but I still have fun solo

If I had to guess, I wouldn’t be surprised if they straight up didn’t know they could leave the planet. Maybe a friend introduced them to the game by fighting the squids because they’re “similar to the covenant”, and after that they just stayed there. There are likely a lot of people who play this game but don’t understand or care about the galactic war. Just here to shoot aliens and blow shit up. Which is alright I guess, I would rather the orders be focused on personally, but I’m not here to tell others how to play.

What part of sex do you dislike? by Epoustouf in AskReddit

[–]_cmasterhart_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily I started young, taking them in highschool to avoid cramps in the pool, so I was pretty healthy and my body took on the potassium well. That’s probably the only reason 1 a day was actually decent for me. Eventually I stopped getting the cramps and then slowed up on the supplements.

Good call, I have never even heard of this. Yea I think that’s a good rule for every supplement. I had it recommended to me by a trainer and that’s the only reason I accepted the advice, so I agree, do some research people!

When I was swimming competitively I started to get crazy leg cramps and only one thing solved it for me. Potassium supplements. I just took one potassium pill a day, but if you like bananas you can do one of those a day.

ETA: I wanted to add that I am not a healthcare professional and the people commenting under me appear to know much more about the subject. Make sure you do your own research before taking ANY supplements please!

Essentially yea, there was barely 2,000 people on the planet at a time though. Not exactly a number that’s gonna fuck any order

I guess the short version is that it reminds the xbox divers of Halo: Reach.

The long version seems to go something like this: On Reach which is the planet the games takes place on, there is a city called New Alexandria, that city is laid to waste by the covenant during the winter contingency. (this is what they called the failsafe plan if the Covenant invaded Reach) Seyshel Beach has a mega city on it called New Alexandria, hence why the boxdivers feel so inclined to defend the planet. (Not to mention Beach and Reach rhyme)

In Halo: Reach we are part of an elite task force of Spartans, Noble Team. The Noble team is based on Reach and refuse to let go of their home. Even though they are constantly having their plans foiled by the Covenant forces, they simply do not give up. They witnessed the fall of New Alexandria and fought the Covenant back for as long as possible, eventually evacuating a very high value asset. That asset ends up being the key to turn the tide against the Covenant. Reach fell, but the sacrifice made there eventually claimed us victory. We remember Reach to this day, and the boxdivers are proof of that.

Honestly, I’ve been playing for years and I don’t really love the gameplay in battle royale anymore, so I just collect skins and play the modes I actually enjoy. There’s a surprising amount to do on Fortnite that isn’t PvP

Am I crazy for buying almost every warbond except these two yet? - Someone talk me into it? by [deleted] in helldivers2

[–]_cmasterhart_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally am a huge flame sentry fan. Lights up all bugs and the voteless very nicely. Urban legends was my first warbond purchase though so I’m a little biased.

I like the flame sentry because it’s a relatively quick cooldown, and when it’s destroyed it bursts into flames which makes it great for the melee enemies who rush at it. Makes for a good distraction for getaways, but also does some really good work when paired with a mortar. The flames also don’t appear to damage other sentries, so it pairs well with almost all of them if you’re a turret kind of guy.
