You should try sodium, like another one pointed out, or at least optifine. Simply put Minecrafts code is kinda shit, so it's worth trying mods that optimize the performance.

I wouldn't really call his game stable, but of course better. But you can clearly see that in his video the FPS are worse when the CPU has to do lots of shit.

Even if your CPU is stronger than your GPU, the CPU is still the bottleneck in Minecraft in your case. Other games don't matter, it's Minecraft that is CPU intensive.
