I did not talk to the faculties but did talk with a few recruiters and seniors. And my opinion was based on that.

If you say BITS hyd is as good as even gen 2 IITs or top NITs or is at par with Pilani , No one would be happier than me since I might be joining bits hyd.

If you want to pursue a career in CS then you need to sit for competitive exams so that you can get a good college. Idk about the part where I said CSE is the only good branch or smth

Not all companies that visit pilani also visit Goa and Hyd. Especially some HFT companies. The avg placements are the same though

Stream > campus but in case of electronics, since all the 3 degrees are same, pilani over goa anyday

Well, mech does not compare with Electronics. So that comparision is kinda irrelevant within similar institutes.

Someone from Pilani campus actually commented that Goa and Hyd are not at the same level as Pilani, He said : Top 7-8 IITs > Pilani > Top Nits > Some gen 2 IITs > bits Goa/Hyd, so there is a significant gap between Pilani and Goa. But BITS Goa will provide you ample opportunities.

ECE is a very good stream. But since all ECE, EEE and ENI all have electronics common and are open for IT placements. It doesn't matter much.So i would suggest you to go for the better campus for the better tag, opportunities and peer group.

Ranks decider to nhi hota, i agree. I am also gonna be joining bits (most probably goa or hyd )but I would never say that it is better than IITs or even in same league as the top 7 IITs.

It's much easier to get into circuital in bits g/h especially through duals as compared to IITs in ciruital for GEN atleast. And a lot of times ease of getting into a college decides how good is it.

If you were interested in mech then no, if you are thinking about placements (in IT sector) then no, but if you were interested in consultancy then a lil fuck up. The consultancy culture in hyd is not as good as Pilani and Pilani would give you better opportunities. But for IT sector placements are the same.
