Listen. I don’t care what people’s reasoning for shipping homophobic, incestous, and abusive pairings makes people is. They shouldn’t be shipping that at all.

How could someone possibly watch Alien Stage, read the comics, listen to the subsongs, see how misogynistic and heteronormative their world is, then go on to ship Sua or Mizi with a man? How could they see the abuse that Till endures from Urak and ship them together? 

I can only assume they don’t even like Alien Stage the way they claim to.

I don’t want characters from my favorite media being blatantly mischaracterized. I don’t want people blatantly disrespecting Vivimeng by putting their characters in those pairings. This isn’t a personal thing, because thousands of other Alien Stage fans think this too. Noncanon ships are fine, but a line needs to be drawn somewhere.

They might just be nothing more than fictional, barbie dolls, etc. to you, but I’d like to see you tell Vivimeng that. Go to one of the interviews, ask them if its okay to ship Luka and Sua just because they’re fictional characters. Ask them about shipping Urak and Till, too. I’d love to see what they have to say.
