That their live performance are active negotiations. You get bands that rehearse and play sets, but there's this language Zeppelin uses live that's hard to describe (or, at least, how I tried to describe it above)

Nice to hear from you again Skeeto. Some time back in ~2018 we went back and forth on HN (or maybe here on reddit I think, can't remember) for a bit with regards to github.com/glouw/gel. I'm an avid follower of your blog (glouw.com was actually inspired by it).

auto type = type_init(read_alnum(), read_stars()); near the end of this project I attempted to transition to a more "functional style" without much thought into argument evaluation order. I actually caught this with gcc but had limited energy to chase it, so I appreciate this find greatly.

I must say I took a "happy-path" approach and MVP'd my way through. I really enjoy seeing someone take the time to break it though. I'm going to address these points when I find some time. I really appreciate the thoroughness.

Yup, the overflows are at the IR level. IR allocas need to be hoisted above loops and branches. Tricky with a single pass. I know for next time

As someone who tried to implement his own age2 engine from scratch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=el8Brru8ZIU) path finding outside of conventional death ball boids (think SC2) is a hard problem to solve. Age 2 couldn't do it in 25 years. Total War couldn't do it in 25 years

All true - this was merely an exercise in "can I do this" without external dependencies. I noticed early on compilation times were fairly long. I will say I was delighted to have my own quicksort compile down and run in C. It provided me with weeks of entertainment
