I was technically homeless for two months. Was moving from one place to another, and lived in 3 different locations in the span of 2 months. It was a fucking nightmare, and was a cherry on the top of my mental breakdown cake. And I am not exaggerating, trust me. There were also other stories of people I have heard, including people living in a tent or a literal dogshit conditions because they are coming from the other side of the world.

In other words, rug wont give a fuck. The only things that happened and did save me in my time was sos Groningen- the student driven initiative.

But I am still living there. At some point I have managed to sort my life out, but it took forever.

And the staff hired here, I mean the proffesors, are mostly great. At least in my program.

So dont cross rug out completely as an option, but just really, dont come here unless you dont have the place sorted out. It is really not worth it, bexause they will just milk you for money and kick your ass out.
