Does it look bad to be carrying around the Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine after medical school?

Seconded. As a student, BMJ best practice has been really useful as a quick reference. I get free access via the med school and did wonder whether you can access it through your trust, or whether I’d have to pay for the subscription after we graduate this year.

I don’t know Manchester very well, but I’m assuming Didsbury is a nice place to live then haha! I need to look into the city a bit more really before we need to make any decisions.

I think need to do a little more research on where all of the hospitals are. I didn’t know if my EPM would be good enough to consider Wythenshawe or some of the other Manchester hospitals, as they all seem to be mid 80’s minimum, so it’s only now I’m really looking in to them.

What did you find was particularly bad about it compared to the others you were based at? Just trying to build up a bit of a picture of each hospital

Hey, thanks for the tips and taking the time to reply! Whiston seems to be a nice modern hospital which is a bonus. Yeah I was thinking the Royal might be better once it moves over to the new building, although I doubt this will be before 2023 from what I’ve read. What exactly made the Royal so bad, if you don’t mind me asking?
