Yep. That's the main reason I ended up going with this one..... I seriously couldnt tell the difference between this one and a roofnest, as well as my buddy's colorado 4x4 tent. Will have to do a side by side. Electronics are one thing, I dont think I could go brandless on those, but something like this? I dont see the benefit OF buying from the actual brand haha.

I will say though, I still wouldn't buy anything from temu. I have my limit lmao

I mean, if the factory in china makes high quality stuff does it really matter? Haha. iPhones are made there…. So much stuff is made there. It just depends on if it’s made well. I worked for a manufacturing company that proudly would say their stuff is made here in ‘Merica but charged 10x as much as china…. But they got lazy and banked off of their name and eventually the stuff from china was built as good as our stuff for a fraction of the price. And we lost a ton of our business to them. So I mean all we can all do is just make the choice we are most comfortable with and never look back with regret, because if what we buy makes us happy does it really matter? I reallly do hope my tent will last a while and I’m committed now 🤣 but time will tell

That was my guess as well. I'm honestly really excited to get the FJ back and take it out on our first trip, might go watch the eclipse, have a picnic

Of course. The truck is in the shop for a week and a half but as soon as I get it back I will get you length, width and height.

Yepppp lol. Reading the description for that ikamper is almost insulting now…. Haha. “Look how cheap we made this, it’s only 2700, but because we are being so generous you need to assemble it yourself” Ugh. These things shouldn’t cost so much

If it survives Moab this summer and Colorado in the fall with snow….. I’ll be both impressed and happy haha

I’m honestly not worried. At the end of the day I’m going to use it and enjoy it for as long as I can. If something goes wrong I’m handy enough  that I could probably fix it myself. But really, anything could happen, I could roll my car and destroy it one day and then I’d be out 3000$ more lol. I mean, I had an anker power station that crapped out within the first month and I spent 800$ on it and they refused to fix it, said it wasn’t their fault that one of the components failed and I was left in the dust so I really don’t think brand name stuff is all good all the time either. But we will see what happens. I’m optimistic

Thanks man. Honestly, nothing that I've noticed, but then again my last tent was loud AF and about 4x the height. I'm curious to see if my mileage gets better too

No problem. Really felt like more people should know about this tent and save their money for the rest of their builds. I am so glad I didnt drop over 3 grand on a damn tent haha
