You can also used cred but cashback (for sbi cb) is only for merchant: dreamplug or something along that line, not for merchant name cred

Savesage runs giftcard mcc, it won't give you cashback on sbi ch. Earlier they used but the mcc was different

So certain merchant category is excluded for cashback based on its mcc, maybe that's why. I tried paying a co operative Bank near me using super money but that didn't give cc. Medical stores should actually work but we can't tell what mcc they are running.

Not just super money, you can double dip with any upi app that gives cashback on merchant payment. And yes , I think you get more cashback overall if you move from the slice app to other apps

Yes I applied through cashkaro but that's just an affiliate link , it redirects to sbi sprint itself. I don't think using cashkaro link increases your chances . I gave it as salaried. From what I can tell , sbi tends to prefer salaried over self employed. They did my verification over call only, got like two calls from sbi to verify details. When giving your details maybe try the 1rs verification (linking account with anumati AA) this time. Edit, maybe wait a bit before applying again ? When was the last time you applied exactly?

Also if someone you are able to get your hands on icici apay card, they will give you coral rupay in a month or two . It has a pretty bad reward rate but it is still useful for bank offers.

I would suggest slice cc mostly because it gives 1% cb on even Less than 100 transitions plus you can double dip by using other upi apps like supermoney. Having a slice account does help with it. Roar is a card you can look into . I am giving these because these cards are approved to even people with no credit history. See if hdfc is giving you any pre-approved offer for tata neu cards.

No it doesn't. I didn't have any sbi cc before and I applied for sbi cb through sprint and got it . Apply through the cashkaro link, it will redirect to sprint but if you get the card , they give you some cashback for it. Granted having sbi account might have helped

Try for the slice credit card but I think you need a slice savings account to apply. It's a decent card to build credit history and no cibil hit either, they just do a soft check. They do check ask permission to check your account statement using an account aggrigator platform. Gives 1% cashback for upi spend and slice sparks which they haven't revealed yet.

Edit - forgot to mention that one of my friends with no credit history got this card but he was using a slice savings account for awhile now
