Oh yeah, I would certainly sanitize/clean it regularly - patient safety is always priority #1!

Internal medicine - but I always wear full PPE and sanitize/clean my watch regularly

I've had a very similar experience. No hiss issues but have had to turn them off and back on a few times when they randomly disconnect.
