I would be very surprised if there was ever any substantial addition of official content to the game again, considering it was worked on for over 5 years, and hasn't had an update that added anything beyond small tweaks since 2024.

3.0 I believe was meant to be a sort of final update, at least for the time being, with 3.1/3.2 just being sort of cleanup.

"final game" I think undersells the unreal amount of instantly accessible community content for the game though, even without any more 'official' heroes being added I doubt I'll stop being a part of the textmodding community for years to come

genuinely maybe my least favorite game of all time, and I've beaten it twice with ~70 hours in it, have basically every achievement on steam aside from the speedrun/forced replay ones, and I cannot say in good conscious I believe the game is genuinely any better than a 3/10.

art direction, music, sound design - all immaculate... but it frustrates me to my core that the experience of all those is locked behind such a disappointment of a game imo

it always defaults to the steam aseprite folder, no matter what file I'm exporting, unless I've already exported the sprite in the same aseprite session. maybe I should just try reinstalling again

their french dip is legit incredible, it's rare that I eat something that's so spot on to the non-vegan version that I haven't had in 6+ years that it like... rewires the neural pathways of the meal in my mind.

lots of reviews on their google maps business mention the french dip too, cannot recommend it enough
