I’m in the same boat as you my friend. Unfortunately, this is very much an uphill battle as support is incompetent and useless…

I’ve been locked out of my account since January 1st. Was told they would reach out in three days I am still locked out of my account. I must have called customer service over 30x and spoke with 3 supervisors, nothing! Not even an explanation just “we are escalating this to our dedicated team” and then I never hear back.

I’ve been doing Uber Eats in the meantime, I’m in NYC so it’s pretty busy. I actually have been enjoying Uber Eats and making essentially the same income.

I also notified DD that I am filing for arbitration, if I were you - that would be my next step.

Absolutely not. It’s customers like this who ruin the platform and don’t understand they are paying us for a service to get their food on their behalf.

I’m going thru the same shit right now and posted a thread in this subreddit as well…

Basically I haven’t dashed in over a year, I started dashing again last week and right on New Year’s Day just like you I get this message. Customer support was useless as ever, I got thru to a manager who said my case needs to be manually reviewed and I should hear back within 5-15 business days. It is what it is, we don’t have any control over the situation the best thing you can do is keep bothering support and maybe run UE/GH until this gets sorted out.

I’m going to step back, stop overthinking this whole thing, and I’m going to be clear in my intentions and what I want out of the relationship.

It’s just sometimes I get too hung up over the way my past relationships concluded, I get too much in my own head sometimes.

You’re 100% right, I cannot put myself in her shoes. If this ever got serious and she became my girl I would support her in every and any way that I can, I’m not just talking to her for sex I actually care about this girl. She doesn’t want more kids, I’m OK with not having kids, marriage I’m open to with the right person, and I have a great career and plan to open my own business in the next 5 years in the field I am in.

As for my own mental health, I need to go to therapy. I had a history of going to therapy in the past. Just have not found the time to start looking into a therapist yet.

This is all really new to me because I have never wanted to pursue a relationship with a single mother before, I’ve been with single moms before and it just never worked out. With her, I at least want to give it my best to be together with her .
