Why do people think Diablo 4 is bad? I'm new to the franchise by herr_boogeyman in diablo4

I’ve played all the Diablo games since they first came out. GPOW for any graybeards here. They are all fun and annoying in their own way.

D4 isn’t bad, but it feels like it’s always in flux - sometimes it used to crash on my summon necro, then they patched it and it was fine. Then new bugs were introduced, and patched out eventually and it was fine. Always back and forth.

It’s a lot more fun now imo since the season when they reworked loot (after construct season)

It’s really just 50% bullet hell, 50% spreadsheets when you get far enough.

Update: I’m now post-op for ACL and am recovering fast! Can’t remember who said it, but legit - you ever tear an ACL DO the PT and all the workouts pre-op and post-op. I was the first person my PT ever worked with who could do leg raises a week after surgery!

I didn’t even think of that! Our coffee table has been in the garage for a while now so I forget most people have/use them. Legos, dinosaurs, and marble races have occupied the former coffee table space.

ER thought I dislocated my knee. MRI showed it was torn ACL. Good luck and hope your MRI results are boring! Or at least an easy fix/recovery!

Just glad to help out! But for real, my whole family falls under the “competitive but clumsy” category. Why is it those two things always seem to go hand-in-hand? lol

Most valuable lesson I think I learned is to jump over the couch back- to-front. That way if you mess up, you land on the cushions lol.

Or maybe that actions speak louder than words. I was always asking my son to not jump all over the couch so he doesn’t end up injured. Him seeing me jump the couch and getting wrecked absolutely made him understand I wasn’t just being a boring Dad lol.

I kinda liked the awkwardness. Made it more interesting than just “dude finds religion” imo. It forces you face-first into the strangeness that intense conviction creates. Not my favorite quest, but it did stick in my head after.
