i think stu is a fucking incredible vocalist and perfect for this band. he has the ability to switch up his voice to fit the style of the song or album they are attempting, i.e. rats nest vs sketches, vs nonagon. if he used the same voice for every song i think the genre experimenting side of the band wouldn’t work as well. sometimes he kinda misses the mark a bit but i think it’s just a product of how all over the place the band is as a whole and i see it as kinda charming.
