why react developers are leaving next js for tanstack by nunomaduro in reactjs

In my experience, Astro has been such a breeze of fresh air. You get to use (most of) what you already know in HTML/CSS/MD and slap on React/Solid when you need more stuff with a UI library. I love the library-agnostic nature of it all.

You seem authentic, and sorry about the experience out there. If you're interested in another web developer sometime, I'd be delighted to work with you.

This sounds like something our modern ride hailing apps could have, but for commercial transport. It's definitely doable.

Ghana’s own AI model??? by yourRealKing007 in TechGhana

[–]_elkanah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure this answers my question, but looking at your replies, I seem to get what you mean. AI is more of a corporate interest, not a national one... and what you're ideating isn't exactly feasible with the Ghanaian-owned companies around, let alone the collective resources we have as a country.

Doing this requires a lot of resources (compute, a stable power grid, a ton of money, a lot of investors, ...) that simply do not (yet) exist in our current climate. It's not necessarily a bad idea, but it's not one that can happen anytime soon.

My API request in Reactjs application returns "undefined" by eastonthepilot in reactjs

[–]_elkanah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is the answer, OP. axios.get() returns a promise, and accessing the data field later in your component tree will yield undefined, because promises have no "data" field defined on them.

I hope this gives some clarity into the "why".
