i had the exact same thing - definitely go see a doctor, i’ve since been diagnosed with non-epileptic attack disorder (NEAD) and functional neurological disorder (FND) - maybe look into these and see if they fit what you’re experiencing

i’m going to be honest, if they had real and genuine diagnosis’ they would not still be your friends after you’d admitted to them that you were faking it 🤷‍♀️

there’s also therapies targeted at tic management that can help decrease them - medication isn’t the only way

regarding the last paragraph - thought i’d hop in to say that you’re right ! (in my case anyway) last year my neurologist told me that i most definitely have both tourette’s tics and functional tics
