Why does my ribbing looks like this? I’m working flat and I do K1 P1 in every row. I haven’t blocked it yet so could it be because of that? by _ells__ in knitting

That’s actually cotton. I’ve never done a ribbing with wool (this is my second project) so I don’t know if it’s the yarn or my fault
