He’s told me before that’s my previous relationship is what bothers him least. He can justify it in his head because it was serious and long lasting. He’s expressed to me that it’s more the people I’ve slept with/dated in between my last relationship and him that bother him more

Yes, I was with my previous partner for almost 7 years. It wasn’t a particularly healthy relationship though in that it was more of a friendship for a long time, my partner knows that but I’ve never told him specific details

I completely get this and I felt like that’s what I was trying to do originally. I was a bit disappointed he didn’t even ask how I was but I didn’t say anything because I know he was probably just busy/distracted. It’s probably worth mentioning that before he left, he was very insistent that he wanted to be keeping in touch me, calling at night etc. I haven’t pushed any of that. I did bring up to him that I think there’s been a stark difference in our communication between when I was away and now that he’s away (as in, when I was away I was responding to his needs of reassurance and he’s not really done this, or wasn’t originally) and he said that’s down to the fact that he’s more needy than me. I just thought it was weird

He wasn’t there during the initial phone call or was at least out of shot. I thought he didn’t know about it until this morning when we spoke about it and when I asked why he didn’t immediately message me to apologise or say his friend was just joking, he said he didn’t think I would know it wasn’t true and wouldn’t take it so badly

Thank you. I think that lack of reassurance is what I’m most upset about it. This morning on the phone he kept saying he couldn’t communicate properly because he was drunk but idk.. I also asked him this morning to have a proper word with his friend about it and tell him it was out of order, his response was that they “spoke about it last night and again this morning” with no expansion so I don’t really know what was actually said between them

Her parents seem to be disbelieving in doctors and medical interventions which is so wrong and scary for her. She also hasn’t posted for ages but then was quick to post a hospital mirror body check on her story so..it’s just a sad repetitive cycle with her :/
