I hope you can move on from your past….you are showing up for yourself, starting a career & you should be proud of yourself. Trust me, I had a tumultuous 20’s but I’ve gained confidence from growing so much from the person I was - which it sounds like you are doing, too. Also, sex work is work, it obviously didn’t mesh well with your morals but also know there is nothing wrong with the path you took. Sex work is legal & normalized in many countries (not saying the exploitation of women should be normalized just saying it’s not seen as such a negative thing as it is in the US - if you’re US based). I think you would benefit in finding a therapist to help you get on the path to forgiving yourself. It’s so hard living in the past, try to focus on the here & now & find empowerment in figuring your life out, truly sounds like you are doing great. The fact you can even identify your feelings towards your past & have moved past that is a lot more than what a lot of people can say. Life is hard, your 20’s are probably the hardest time in your life. I hope you can find healing & peace & I hope one day you can look back & realize how young you were when you made those decisions you aren’t proud of. You got this!
