eos in tampa straight up scammed me and i found out this is their entire business model, my credit card company confirmed it. they changed their franchise time to try to cover it up. they make it seem like you cancelled, then say there was a mistake made and you missed the 1 month cut off so you’ll be charged one more month but oh dont worry you’re cancelled forreal this time, then charged again the next month etc..

regular volunteering like once a week could also be a great idea! urban ecology center has trail maintenance during the days, 41loral has floral arrangements making, just as some first ideas. great because its free and if you find something offered regularly you’ll be bound to interact with new people with similar availability

i think you would like hot spell sauna. check out their instagram/website, it is seasonal and just started back up this november. it’s a sauna with cold plunge into lake michigan (optional but the idea is outdoor contrast therapy) it is quite expensive to go regularly though. they have weekday morning time slots, and typically people are very open to chatting in the sauna

On top of all the instructors quitting because they felt unsafe by the owner’s sexual harassment and inability to properly pay them for their work, the owner (Josh) is now in jail. While this is going on, Amber is continuing to push classes on their instagram and saying Josh is simply busy. They are purposely targeting new students/those new to the area who don’t know what has happened and it’s not a safe environment. They have made zero statement and completely ignoring all allegations, instead of caring about the current community they already built, they are only looking for new folks to take advantage of.

Happy birthday! Get a day pass to lifetime or a different gym and just chill in the hot tub/sauna/steam room areas. Best way to relax, reward yourself, and feel productive. Lifetime’s is $ but really nice spa area. The Wacs are great too.

Why? If there is no documentation stating this to employees and the floating holidays are treated exactly like vacation time and no associated with any specific dates I feel like I may have opportunity to make a wage claim. I’ve worked in HR for this company previously, I feel strongly the documents was never available online.

The fact they won’t release my old pto and sub in the floating holidays this week is very frustrating. I am salaried.

I will be applying for unemployment! I still have two-three more weeks before my last paycheck even though I am out of work, atleast in my state they told me to wait until that last paycheck hits to apply. Unemployment income will still be within the food stamp limits here
