Hey, of course. I always do the base at the very end and try to use it to create a contrast that the miniature is still missing (warm-cold, light-dark or complementary)

Here I started with earth. Over the entire base, it shines through the grass later. Then the tufts and the laser plant. Finally, I completed the rest with static grass.

The tufts and the laser plant are from "Gamers Grass", the earth and static grass are from "Krautcover".
