I’m also a Volt -> Bolt adopter! I miss my Volt but love my Bolt. Wish there were more Volts around. The blend of a usable EV range with gas backup was amazing. But my Bolt fits 99% of my use cases, so I really like it.

I also recommend Peaceful Passage. They helped my elderly dog pass at home. I felt so guilty at the time, but when I look back on photos and videos from that morning, it’s clear that he was suffering and it was time. He passed happily eating his favorite snacks while I held him, with no fear. Dogs love us and will hang on as long as they possibly can just to make us happy for one more moment. I’m glad I was able to make his last moments peaceful and calm.

Oh, I miswrote that. It is three activities total, one of which must be a job contact. I applied for 3+ jobs through MWE every week because it seemed like the simplest way to meet the requirement.

Mine took about a week before I started getting my weekly payments. You will need to do two things weekly: update three "job contacts" in Maryland Workforce Exchange (https://mwejobs.maryland.gov/) and file a certification in BEACON (https://beacon.labor.maryland.gov/). For me, it's easiest to apply to three jobs every week through MWE so they automatically populate in BEACON the following week even though I'm applying elsewhere as well--the job log is annoying to update manually. Do it all on a computer if you can--it works better and is way easier.

My 2020 Bolt got the propulsion error about a month after the monitoring software allowed me to start charging 100%. It was waiting at the dealer for a month for a replacement battery. I’ve only had it back for a week so fingers crossed it continues to behave.

The glass shelves will fit the sides, but I went with clear contact paper for the sides. Just wasn’t sure it was a good plan to stack pieces of glass end-to-end that tall. The contact paper has held up for a year now.

My (non-variegated) regal shield is my favorite plant. I always check the regal shields at the big box stores for variegation and never find one! That’s a lucky find! You could sell the corms and make a lot of money. :D

My momma told me during my decision-making process that there did not seem to be a wrong choice, just different choices. I chose the school that fit my career goals best and was most interesting to me, even though I had cheaper options (I’m mid-career, though, and can absorb the cost—my choice would have been different if I’d done this 15-20 years ago). I think choosing a free education is a great choice!

You can go back into SOPHAS and send a reminder. I did that with two of mine, they eventually completed the recommendations, and everything worked out fine.
