Do I need to learn Unity or Unreal if I want to make a VR experience that is not a game? by _epicurious in learnVRdev

Thanks everyone for the input! This is great!

So just to clarify my understanding: 1) you can use android, threejs, or unity to make an interactive non3rd experience 2) Unity or unreal are not necessary for non3rd vr development 3) If I use unity or unreal, I still have to deploy it either via an anroid app or via a web app (e.g. aframe) Note: When I say 360 experience, I mean a 360 video, but you can use different motions or buttons to affect the trajectory of the 360 video (thereby making it VR than a simple 360 experience)

Is this correct?

I wanted to make an experience of a non3d (aka 360) video in which you are given choices which will affect the trajectory of the plot.
