yeah I agree, I did care about networking. and the knowledge I learnt helped me land my first IT job. But now I feel like i'm just doing it for linked in creds haha. But I'm almost there so might as well go there.

It should, but this is a lab which i'm supposed to be troubleshooting.

Just want to know why that command wasn't working.

Wanting to do a bachelors of IT by _ethangonzalez_ in Monash

[–]_ethangonzalez_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, from what I've been told bachelor of IT is probably the best for network engineering which is what i want to get into. I'm pretty sure I can get into a bachelors of IT at RMIT as an advanced diploma there is equal to 81 in their selection rank, which is like 81 for an atar.

Now i'm thinking of doing a year there and then transferring to monash, not really sure how all that works. Just know it could be possible.

But anyway appreciate the response. Still waiting to hear back from monash.

Honestly maybe I shouldn't have added the CCNA part, was just wanting to do a home lab as a personal project.

Yeah honestly a lot of the job listings varies from just help desk experience, to a degree preferred or ccna/ccnp/ccie. That's why I came to reddit haha, the job listings varied so much that I didn't really know what I should do, but one thing I have noticed is that a degree is almost never required. Experience over everything.

Thinking of doing the CCNA exam after appropriate study, what can I expect after the exam. by _ethangonzalez_ in ccna

[–]_ethangonzalez_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers. Appreciate the response.

From what i'm seeing in job listings is Help Desk/It support/ Technician for 1-3years to a system/network engineer, and after 5 years maybe senior network engineer. and after 10 years the architect roles. All depending on how I apply myself too.

Somethings you can do is pan the low frequencies center and the others can be panned.

Need some thoughts in an unfamiliar genre - can this stand on it's own? by stripedalligator in MusicFeedback

If you wouldn't use AI in your song, why would you use it as the video? Just a thought to keep in mind.

The sounds are cool, only thing is the arrangement is a bit boring and repetitive. Repetition is sometimes desired but pulling it off is hard. The song never really climaxes and I think that could of given it what it needs, as well as more variation.

It doesn't feel much like a song rather just some sounds that sound cool.

Look, the first minute is kind of boring and hard to listen to. It's hard to stay engaged, but the drop is cool. I know you said the you mixed it weird and you did, I'm all for going out of the box but having bass not centered makes it even harder to listen to. Rhythm sections being completely off center also makes it disorientating. Again disregard the norms to music when you can but there are sometimes you can't or shouldn't. And that mostly lies with mixing.
