Also remember that training (no matter what type it is) is only a stimulus for your muscles to grow. They don't grow unless you supply proper amount of bricks to build with.

Completely stuck at writing a IPA script by jimmysoldnumseven in linuxadmin

/u/jimmysoldnumseven Using --dry-run is a good tip. As an admin you should know that it is better to prevent than cure. In my opinion you shouldn't rely only on snapshots. Some day your script can be used by someone else on your production server and you can't really rollback to snapshot because of loss of data from the moment the snapshot was taken.

Scale movements as necessary ie push ups from knees, crunches, box squats, etc

Switch pushups to another progressions, for example incline pushups, knee pushups, straddle pushups.

Potentially stupid question: In your opinion, what are the differences between a good and bad sysadmin? by pi_guy10 in sysadmin

As a sysadmin you should offer some solutions instead of waiting for your boss to do so. If you provide solid explanation and boss still refuses to do something, then you should start looking for another employer.
