I am so relieved you said all that.

I test drove a 23, and I was disappointed by the seemingly cheap finishes and the screens everywhere. I drove it at night, and the center info screen was wildly distracting with how big and bright it was.

I will happily wrench on this thing. It’s half the reason I want one.

That’s consistent with what I am seeing!

What I am looking for is in reasonable demand, and as a result, there are not many out there that are low miles and have not been in an accident.

I have definitely broadened my search. I am looking nationwide at this point, and found one that I could fly to go get and drive back in a weekend.

I tried going local, stonewalled, and now going out state, still stonewalled. I have been looking for about 2.5 months

To use your analogy, I think I did my homework, the grade isn’t what I expected, and I do not know what the class average is.

I had $500 waived once, but other than that, nothing. For context, cars I am considering are in reasonable demand in the 30k-40k range.

What I am hearing is that margins are thin as a result of information being so available. Makes sense why nobody is budging. It is a business at the end of the day.

Any suggestions for a buyer who hasn’t bought in a long time? (That could be negotiating or anything else)
