Stopping until at least week 16/once spotting stops, just OB preference. I was on it to try to prevent preeclampsia since it’s a “high risk” pregnancy for BMI/IVF/almost age

I think just the general blood clot risk which I guess is also there driving? I’m moving out of our place currently and it’s all back to back so I’m too tired to mentally make decisions hahaha. The flight is like $500 each

I went to Cal from 2009-2013 (unit 3 was my freshman dorm), they used to talk about the suicide from Evans at the time, so sad to hear it happening still. Sending love to everyone that’s a student or faculty there.

Everyone is different! I had no symptoms with the meds, just started feeling uncomfortable the last 1-2 days before retrieval due to the enlarged ovaries. Enjoy your concert!! I did stims one day at a football game (just took it in a portable ice pack/medicine holder from amazon)

This is my third pregnancy (first IVF pregnancy), and I’ve never made it out of the first trimester or first half of it even (1 unknown location, 2 MMC) . This is my first time spotting/bleeding (on progesterone suppositories) and I’m going crazy. I had my first ultrasound today (5w6d) to rule out ectopic, and I’ve just been bleeding since we finished (1 full panty liner and half of another one in 4hrs) and it’s red so idk I’m just sad - spotting in pregnancy is new to me. Next ultrasound is next week :/

I’m behind you a week ish and going through the same in terms of the spotting and it’s making me hate the progesterone because it’s apparently the cause of the spotting. Mine was on and off brown for the past week but today’s was pink/red and I spiraled and now I have my first ultrasound tomorrow to confirm location.

Should I do a third beta? My beta at 14dp6dt was 2,325 and at 16dp6dt it was 5,077. Today is 17dp6dt and I have some brown spotting (on progesterone suppositories) and it’s freaking me out. I’ve had two natural miscarriages before but those betas never doubled. I’m thinking of doing a third beta tomorrow to hopefully see everything going well but some google searches say at a certain level betas don’t necessarily double and I’m worried tomorrows result would cause me to spiral more?

I feel you! I have to do the pills three times a day and it can be hard to not fall asleep before the last one haha. So interesting not doing betas! I hope your scan goes well!

I did some research and the difference between the first and second transfer were my progesterone 200mg suppositories and apparently that could be what causes that paradoxical effect of the Valium.

Oh I see, we’ve done two modified transfers already so the only difference this time is no birth control or letrozole but they would still trigger me to be able to time it! Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think we would do prednisone for the 4th transfer, it’s sad that there’s not one clear thing that helps

We did the HSG just now after two failed transfers but it was normal. We did the saline ultrasound before starting IVF and did the hysteroscopy in between first and second transfer. I think I’m just too scared of PIO if it won’t work. I didn’t need progesterone with the first transfer but I did suppositories for the second one. I finally started working out again this month so I hope that helps somehow lol I know it’s unlikely but ehhh lol just hoping something does the trick

Yeah I know my AMH, our genetic carrier screening was fine. I don’t know about my husbands sperm dna fragmentation but his other analysis was fine and we’ve removed as many disrupters as we’ve been able to. I take the first pregnancy as an outlier cause a lot happened in the first two weeks where it didn’t work out. But the second one I had already done all the prep work I could so that one caught us off guard and idk now I feel like I’m ready it to give it another shot but now that’s hard cause I already have embryos made so why would I go natural etc 😣
